Scarlett Johansson (born November 22 1984 New York City New York, U.S.) American actress and singer whose acting versatility earned her praise across many styles from period dramas to thriller and action adventure. Johansson was the daughter of an architect as well as a producer was raised in New York City. She was the twin sister of Hunter and she were among the youngest of siblings. Her interest began in acting from a very young age, and began auditioning for commercials at age seven. After a short time, she began studying in the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute. When she was a kid she appeared in Sophistry with Ethan Hawke and made her movie debut at Rob Reiner's North in 1994.
