Andressa Urach

Andressa started her romance with Tiago when she was 15; they were both at high school. They moved in together following three months. Arthur Urach Costa (born May 19, 2005) was their sole child. Following marital disagreements, the couple divorced in 2008 following six years together. Andressa later moved into the home of her mother and her child. She lost her job after 6 months and decided to move the son of hers to Sao Paulo to seek a new start in life. However, because she was arrogant and determined, her main goal in making the move to Sao Paulo was to be wealthy and famous. In her memoir Morri Para Viver Andressa Urach says she was a victim of sexual assault throughout her childhood a victim of the abuse her foster grandfather suffered that occurred from two years old until eight. Andressa has been able to overcome of these issues due to the fact that her foster grandmother was able to witness the abuse and re-admitted her in her home. The mother of the child was not aware of her abuse until Andressa published her book. She said that before she went through a spiritual change she was unable to accept the forgiveness of her abuser. The decision I took was among the most challenging of my life. I contacted my former lover who I had physically abused by. The decision wasn't easy. After much prayer vows and fasting, I told my husband via phone that I was sorry for the man and, while I didn't feel guiltless, I asked for forgiveness. I didn't justify myself I simply asked forgiveness. Mariste Urach shares her reactions in a Globo interview.
